By day, Christine Meyer is a mild-mannered technology teaching assistant in a school library.  By night (and sometimes late afternoon), she is an artist, using jewelry as her surface.

 

Her canvases are glass and stainless steel. Christine favors acrylics and alcohol inks as her media, but she is not above using the occasional old dictionary page or watercolor to make a statement.

After spending her days and evenings with school kids and her own children, it’s no wonder that she created  “Five O’Clock Collection”.  Martinis, Margaritas, and Mimosas, oh my.

​

This jewelry began with a wine glass charm, and then more ideas poured in (pun intended).  The detail Christine achieves in her painting is pretty amazing considering how tiny the charms are.

​
